When Henry Melton went down for the season in 2013, it didn’t look like he was gong to be a hot commodity on the free agent market. It was risky when the Chicago Bears franchise tagged Melton and the consequences of the risk are being felt more by Felton than the Bears.

But while his 2013 season was disappointing in more than one way, Melton is eyeing c return in 2014 that will bring him back to the level he was at after the 2012 season. According to ESPNDallas.com, the pace Melton wants to restart his career is in Dallas with the Cowboys.

Per ESPN.com:

"“Henry’s from Dallas, he played for [Marinelli], obviously there would be interest from Henry’s side, but who knows at this point?” Melton’s agent, Jordan Woy, said.Woy said Melton’s recovery is coming along."

It’s yet to be seen what the Cowboys do with their defense, but adding Melton couldn’t hurt. The Cowboys’ defensive lines as terrible in 2013, so much so that a guy playing on one leg seems to be a better option than what they have.
