The Cincinnati Bengals signing Michael Vick? It seemed like a questionable off the bat, but now we know there’s nothing serious as Pro Football Talk suggests the Bengals have no interest in signing free agent quarterback, Michael Vick.

"One place where he won’t be competing for the job is Cincinnati.  Per a league source, the Bengals have no interest in Vick."

The Bengals were of course famously interested in Vick when he returned to the NFL after his stint in prison, but with Andy Dalton currently on the roster, the veteran signal caller wouldn’t have an opportunity to start.

That’s something Vick is looking for and even if the Bengals had interest, they likely wouldn’t be atop his list because of this.

Adding Vick to the roster would only compound an already iffy situation with Andy Dalton under center, who despite flashes of brilliance, still struggles to maintain consistency.

The Bengals will be in the market for a backup, but it certainly won’t be Michael Vick.

The Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and even the Philadelphia Eagles seem like the most likely landing spot for Vick.
