Boston Bruins netminder Tuukka Rask was manning the net for Finland in the 2014 Winter Olympics, but he was forced to miss the semifinal game against Sweden after being a late scratch. There were reports that Rask was partying around Sochi the night before, but he has refuted those reports and says it was a flu bug that made him miss the game — not a hangover.
From CSN New England’s Joe Haggerty:
Tuukka Rask said he was "at about 40 percent" from flu when he missed game vs Sweden. Refuted whispers he was out partying rather than sick

Rask came back to start against the United States in the bronze medal game, where he shut out the Americans and helped the Finns bring home a third-place finish in the Sochi Games.
There was plenty of time to party after that.
