The Chicago Bulls put together one of its most complete games of the year in beating the Golden State Warriors 103-83 on Wednesday. After the game, coach Mark Jackson and forwards Jason Lee and  Jermaine O’Neal shared their thoughts on the loss.

Mark Jackson

“It’s a disappointing loss. We turned the basketball over, they hurt us on the offensive boards, they outworked us tonight- disappointing. We need to make sure one doesn’t turn into two. We need to make sure we bounce back from this one. Bottom line is, individually and collectively we didn’t have our best night. We own it and we move forward.”

“The second quarter really hurt us. They scored 34, 35 points. That’s a team that doesn’t push the pace. We turned the basketball over and they created some separation. It’s a tough loss for us, it happens. Give them credit. They’re a good team, they’re a physical basketball team and they made plays and we didn’t.”

David Lee

“They had an all-around team performance. We did not play our best tonight. I thought everyone was somewhat out of sorts. Give them credit; they are a very good team at home. We had one of those off nights that is a very forgettable one for us. ”

“It was just one of those nights. We got outplayed at all five positions, both the starters and the bench. Unfortunately, you have those nights in the NBA. The important thing is to keep our heads up and get ready for the next game.”

Jermaine O’Neal

“In this league you either come to play or you get beat. The average fan, the average writer or sports analyst don’t understand that in this league it is filled with great athletes and a lot of professionals. If you don’t come out and play to the same level, you are going to get beat. We failed in many aspects tonight.”
