The fifth of six outdoor games in the NHL will take place Saturday night in the home of the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Pittsburgh Penguins in what could be a preview of the Stanley Cup Final later this year.

Ticket sales have been sluggish on the secondary market as the forecast for Chicago calls for wind chill temperatures below zero and four inches of snow, so the people responsible for transforming the football stadium into a hockey rink will have their hands full.

This is the second outdoor game in a famed Chicago outdoor stadium as Wrigley Field was the host to the Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings on New Year’s Day in 2009.

The final stadium series game takes place on Sunday in Vancouver’s BC Arena between the Vancouver Canucks and the Ottawa Senators in the 2014 Tim Horton’s NHL Heritage Classic.
