Last week, reports surfaced suggesting the Miami Heat’s ‘Big 3’ – LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade – weren’t exactly willing to take pay cut’s to better the team.

The notion came up over the idea of James, Bosh and Wade taking less money so Carmelo Anthony could sign with the Heat during the offseason.

We don’t know if they’re really open to taking less salary or not for such a scenario to happen, but according to Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders – they’re enjoying themselves and certainly don’t want the ride to end.

"If they got embarrassed, maybe some guys look at things, but the truth of it, and this is after talking with some of those guys. They don’t want this ride to stop and they do want to add to it not subtract from it."

The ’embarrassment’ Kyler is referencing is in regards to a fan question, asking if the Heat would break up if they lost in the first or second round of the postsesaon.

As Kyler notes – they have an owner willing to spend, a coach who understands them and one of the premier living situations in the country. There’s not a lot of reason to want to leave.

James, Bosh and Wade all have the opportunity to opt-out of their contract at season end.
