Oh, Brandon Jennings. How we love you so.
The Detroit Pistons guard caught a bit of flack on Monday night as he decided to show off some swagger, but karma decided to come around and bite him where it hurt the most – his pride.
Jennings and his volume shooting self rushed down the court and when he saw New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton slide into the paint, he did what any NBA player would do – fire up a shot.
Nobody was within fifteen feet of Jennings, who hung in the air and all but mimicked the famed Jordan-esque pose after a clutch shot. Unlike Michael Jordan though, Jennings didn’t hit the shot. In fact, he missed everything except the right side of the backboard.
More hilarious than Jennings’ whiff though may be the Detroit Pistons bench (especially Rasheed Wallace) who seems quite confident Jennings will knock down the open shot with relative ease.
They quickly find out that wouldn’t be the case and their reaction is priceless.
