For the second time this season, Houston Rockets’ center Dwight Howard returned to play one of his former teams and for the second time this season, Howard was heavily booed during his introduction.

Howard is also being booed each and every time he touches the ball.

Howard was booed throughout a 134-108 victory in Los Angeles over the Lakers back on February 19. Howard destroyed his former team, scoring 20 points, grabbing 13 rebounds, blocking three shots and recording two steals in just 28 minutes.

Howard was drafted by the Magic back in 2004 with the #1 overall pick.  He played the first eight years of his career with the Magic, helping them to turn their downtrodden franchise around after Tracy McGrady was traded to the Rockets.

During Howard’s time in Orlando, he won a Slam Dunk Contest, was named Defensive Players of the Year three years in a row and helped the Magic win their first ever NBA Finals game in 2009.

Howard is averaging 19.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.8 assists per game this season.
