Earlier today, baseball icon Ken Griffey Jr. did an interview with ESPN’s Sportscenter and needless to say, it didn’t go well.

Griffey’s body language from the onset looked suspect as best and the interview only went down hill from there.

ESPN’s Linda Cohn, who conducted the interview, was understandably frustrated with Griffey’s odd appearance and called the interview a waste.

Cohn did what she could to save the interview, but Griffey, for whatever reason simply wasn’t in to it.

The ESPN anchor let her frustrations be known:

Griffey’s always been a relatively kind guy so that made the interview even more strange.

Of course, we don’t know what is going on in The Kid’s personal life and it’s possible he had other things on his mind. If not, then it was just a poor display by Griffey that can’t really be defended.

Frustrating or not hammering out interview after interview, life could be much worse.
