The Minnesota Timberwolves are trying to turn their season around in the second half of the year and are looking to get star forward Kevin Love to the postseason for the first time in his career. The happiness of Love is a big issue in Minnesota as the Wolves are nervous about losing him but remain confident he’ll come back.

One of the possible destinations for Love when he opt-out of his contract in 2015 is with the New York Knicks, his opponent in tonight’s game. While Love may consider the Knicks, Frank Isola hears that Love is either going to re-sign with the Wolves or yea west to Los Angeles.

"There are some interesting names out there including Kevin Love, who can become a free agent in 2015. But the word is Love will either re-sign with Minnesota or head to the Lakers, which sounds more plausible."

While it’s hardly breaking news, it’s interesting to hear the Wolves become mentioned more and more by the national media as a destination for Love. Where it once sounded like Love was for sure a goner in Minnesota, the Wolves are right there in the running to bring him back and that has to make fans happy, even if it’s openly toying with their emotions.
