UPDATE: Jackson has signed a four-year, $22 million deal with Colts, via Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Since being released by the Cleveland Browns, veteran inside linebacker D’Qwell Jackson has received plenty of interest from around the league and it looks like his search for a new home could be nearing an end.
Because he was released early in the offseason, Jackson can sign with a team before the start of the NFL free agency period next week and the Indianapolis Colts are emerging as the most likely suitor.
From Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports:
Sounds like the Colts are nearing a deal with LB D’Qwell Jackson who visited there this week. Also went to DEN, TEN, MIA

Jackson has a great nose for the football and is a sound tackler, so he would be a great addition to the Colts defense.
In each of the past three seasons, Jackson has eclipsed 110 tackles.
