At a time when Aaron Hernandez can not afford to get himself in any further trouble, the former New England Patriots tight end found himself in an altercation at the jail house where he allegedly beat up another inmate.

Now, multiple media sources are reporting that Hernandez will be facing simple assault charges for the fight.

Hernandez’s assault reportedly happened whenever the other inmate was still in handcuffs.

The assault charge is just the latest incident to be added to Hernandez’s unlawful record, which includes the suspected murder of Odin Lloyd, the 2012 double-murder of Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado and allegedly shooting a man in the face in February of 2013.
