Cowboys to release Phil Costa, save $1.5 million. Move puts them under the cap. Trimmed roughly $18.3 million this week.

The Cowboys still need to create more room, those two moves won’t be enough. You could expect them to still release Miles Austin though likely not until June and they’re still deciding what to do with defensive end DeMarcus Ware.
