It appears that a former NFL player could be in some serious trouble with the law. According to TMZ.com, an ex-Detroit Lions player is the suspect in a murder for-hire-plot that was in the works.

The report would not attach a name, but did say that the player was “VERY” big.

That does not mean that the player used to be a big name, but simply he was just an enormous human being.

From the report:

"Here’s the backstory — we know … celebrity skin specialist Dawn DaLuise was arrested Wednesday for allegedly trying to hire someone to kill a skin care competitor. Sources tell us the person she contacted once played for the Lions."

The good news is that the murder was not carried out before police authorities got involved.

However, this would still be a black eye for the NFL.
