The recently franchise-tagged tight end Jimmy Graham has yet to sign his tender offer with the New Orleans Saints, and the recent moves by the franchise may have Graham considering his options even more than some thought.
The Saints have been cleaning house, particularly on offense, trying to free up cap space and to revamp what was once the class of the NFL offensively. Recently the team released longtime wide receiver Lance Moore, and have been reportedly shopping running back Pierre Thomas.
Today, in one of the more surprising announcements, it was announced that running back Darren Sproles was the next victim of the cap-cuts.
Graham tweeted on his winter of discontent.
Wow unbelievable. Shocked and disappointed on everything that's gone on this offseason.

Does this mean that the Saints will have a struggle in getting Graham to re-sign? His non exclusive designation means he can negotiate with any team, and it was already known that he had filed a grievance against the Saints saying he should have been tagged as a receiver rather than a tight end.
It could be that all the Saints moves to free up cap space to be able to pay Graham and others could indeed cost them in the long run.
