As we prepare for the start of NFL free agency, we are learning what players teams will be making priorities to re-sign and what players will be allowed to walk. For the New York Jets, offensive lineman Willie Colon will be allowed to test the open market.

While Colon could eventually get a good look on the open market, it is unlikely that he will receive interest early on in the free agency period after suffering a torn biceps in the final week of the regular season.

Last season, he started every game for the Jets and proved that he could still have plenty to offer for quarterback needy teams so he would be an intriguing option for teams in desperate need of help along the offensive front.
