So what should your franchise quarterback be doing in the offseason while recovering from back surgery? I hope the Dallas Cowboys‘ answer is “go play hoops on the court of one of the best college basketball teams in the country”, because that’s what Tony Romo decided to do.

OK, so it wasn’t a pick-up game or even a game of 2-on-2, it was just a friendly game of PIG with Duke legend Jason Williams, Quinn Cook and operations assistant Casey Stevenson. [Video Credit: DukeBluePlanet.com]

I guess it should be noted (as seen in the video) that Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett also joined in the game, so there must not have been much concern for Romo’s back to take a turn for the worse.

Romo was in Durham to take in the Duke-UNC basketball game on Saturday night, and decided to make the most of the trip.

I guess getting to play on Coach K court is on the bucket list of even NFL superstars.
