When free agency broke, Aqib Talib was expected to be the most in-demand cornerback on the market.

So far, he hasn’t received an offer.

Multiple teams have kicked the tires on Talib and have had their names linked to the All-Pro talent, but no team has yet to make an offer according to Mike Giardi of CSSNE.

"Aqib Talib believed this was his week, that his performance over the last year and a half, combined with a resurgent market for cornerbacks, would result in a sizable payday. Instead, to this point, the legal tampering period has delivered an unexpected result: no standing offers."

Talib was a model citizen with the New England Patriots this past year, but it’s possible some teams still question his attitude and past issues, especially when they’re throwing big bucks on the table.

That said, Talib will still likely cash in but so far, he hasn’t proven to be as desired as originally expected.

Reports on Monday night suggested that Talib was close to re-signing with the Patriots, though we’ve seen no movement on that front at this point.
