The question as to what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will do with star cornerback Darrelle Revis will soon be answered, as Mike Garafolo is reporting that the team will indeed cut the veteran, leaving him open to negotiate.

Revis was due $16 million this season, which is what made the rumors of a potential trade seem highly unlikely. While there were some potential suitors out there, this was the outcome that most expected to see, and expected to see it here on this second day of Free Agency.

Now, the question is where the former first round pick will end up. With the Broncos signing Aqib Talib away from the New England Patriots on Tuesday night, a move to Boston with Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and the rest of the bunch seems like the most likely option at this point in time.

Whatever the case may be, though, there will be a lot of phone calls being made from a lot of teams looking to beef up their secondary with one of the best in the game.
