DeAngelo Hall and Richard Sherman get into twitter war

If social media has proven anything to us, it’s that NFL defensive backs are most certainly among the biggest trash talkers in the world, and on twitter Thursday night, Washington Redskins defensive back DeAngelo Hall proved that as he went right after Seattle Seahawks corner Richard Sherman, the NFL’s current, most famous loud mouth.

Here’s a look at some of the highlights of the most recent social media throw down that Sherman got into with Hall, and it was absolutely some entertaining content.

After that, things really got jumpstarted.

That was just a small sample of how the two went at it tonight, which was actually Sherman’s second twitter battle in the last two nights.

A tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing, people forget that.

  • Mark Daniel Adamczyk

    Sherman better than Hall

  • Michael Bradshaw

I’m going to leave Sherman out of this.
As a lifelong Redskins fan MeAngelo Hall should shut up! He gets burned 7-8 times for every 1 good play he makes. 4 int’s in a game don’t make you good when the week before or next week you give up 5 TDs, Dumbarse!! Wish the Skins would cut you! You run your trap like you’re a god even when your team is losing its tails off!!! Become a team player, shut up and let your play do the talking!! When you’ve won a Super Bowl then you can talk about how good a year you AND YOUR TEAMMATES had, idiot!! Guess the mean streets of the 757 and Coach Beannnner taught you to act like you do, huh?

In my opinion, no matter what achievements either has made, they do nothing but undermine the importance of if by tweeting as if they are a couple of 12 year olds. Seriously, isn’t it time to GROW UP?!?!?!?! “My dad can beat up your dad” crap should end in junior high school. Let your stats speak for themselves and keep your mouth shut and attitude in check.

This is just bad reporting. The tweets are out of order.

Sherman said “@DeAngeloHall23 been tough on u huh lol”

Then Hall said “@RSherman_25 not at all young fella. Check my stats. Then after that go check my BANK account.”

After a few other tweets in between Sherman said “@DeAngeloHall23 let me know when u ever have an 8 pick season…. Please….I’ll be awaiting that call”

Then Hall said “@RSherman_25 let me know when you get 4INTs in one game.”

Then Johnson chimed in with “@DeAngeloHall23 @RSherman_25 Both of you are great at what you do, case closed!!!!!”

To which Hall replied “@ochocinco @RSherman_25 all I’m saying to the kid is I want to see him against top guys all day chad like we use to do.”

All I am saying is if you are gonna report a story, at least get it in order. Because unlike what you said, things didn’t get “jumpstarted” after those last 2 tweets, which you have as the first 2. That was actually near the end of it. If you are ever gonna be a big league journalist, you better have your facts straight before you report a story, Jack Jorgenson. is how this story should have been written.

    • super butt

I had to look to see. Yep his name really is Jack Jorgenson

      • Jeffrey Swartz

Yes, whether it is his real name or not, I am not sure. Still a better name than Ha’Sean(Ha’Sean “Ha Ha” Clinton-Dix’s real first name). I don’t think I will ever understand why people name kids stuff like that.

Since when did reporting the “truth” ever make a reporter great? Obviously this comment doesn’t apply to all great reporters. I’m just saying a lot of reporters who make it big don’t necessarily report the whole truth

      • Jeffrey Swartz

I guess you are right. But at the very least he could have made it harder for us to see right through his bullshit. At least the reporters you are talking about don’t have information in their own article that directly contradict what they said.

  • Damon LaBenz

think how faster he’d be if he cut his hair off

  • Kevin Hornsby

Um, MEangelo is almost always out of position, which accounts for some of his timely, yet lucky turnovers. As for Chad Johnson being humble and giving MeAngelo a little love? Let’s get real, once while with the Falcons, Hall carved 85 into his head, and the Bengals receiver proceeded to TOAST him for 3 TDs in the 1st half. While with Oakland, Hall was statistically the WORST CB in the league. Get over yourself MeAngelo, no one thinks you’re anywhere near as good as YOU think you are!

  • Gary J. Paige

I’m going to keep this very simple. I’ve been an NFL football fan most of my life and simply put, THE GREAT ONES DON’T HAVE TO BOAST, THEY JUST DO!

    • Brian Anderson

Yeah like that Muhammad Ali guy, just absolute garbage huh?

      • Gary J. Paige

He was a great fighter, his mouth didn’t make him any greater!
