Might the Arizona Cardinals have a new man returning kickoffs and punts? It’s possible as it’s being reported that wide receiver/return man Ted Ginn Jr. is currently meeting with the Arizona Cardinals brass.

"#Cardinals GM Steve Keim confirms on #ScheinOnSports w/ @AdamSchein that Ted Ginn is in the building. @PSchrags"

Ginn, who previously played for the Carolina Panthers has drawn interest from multiple teams including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and more.

There’s no doubt that in the past year or so, Ginn has improved as a wide receiver though by no stretch is he somebody you’d consider to be more than a rotational wideout as best given his inconsistent numbers.

That said, he’s still one of the better return men in the NFL and the fact that he can at times be beneficial as a wide receiver is simply the icing on the cake.

He’d likely get a small boost in his wide receiver skill as well playing with Larry Fitzgerald who will attract the vast majority of defensive attention.
