Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron has been a bit of a wild card leading up to the 2014 NFL Draft. Mostly, though, the feedback has been negative, but that might be beginning to change. On the NFL Network Friday night, college analysts Charles Davis and Daniel Jeremiah broke down McCarron a bit, and not only did they find positives, but they may have found potential landing spots as well.

First, Davis explained some of the attributes that McCarron brings to the table for a team, before proclaiming that the Tennessee Titans might be a logical fit for the two-time national title winner.

"“He’s going to have to go a place that mirrors what he had at Alabama,” Davis said. “A place that has a big-time running game, a place with a stout offensive line and some receivers that can make some plays.“To me that’s the Tennessee Titans.”"

Then, it was Jeremiah’s turn to have his crack at the ‘Bama signal caller, and he believes that that stars are aligned for him to head out west to the Arizona Cardinals.

"“I look at a team like the Arizona Cardinals,” Jeremiah said. “You’ve got Carson Palmer in his mid-30’s. Get another year or two out of him and groom AJ McCarron. He doesn’t have a big arm, but I don’t think you need one in that division. You’re playing indoors and on the West Coast a lot. I’d think he’d fit nicely in there and get the last couple of years of Larry Fitzgerald’s career."

One thing is for sure, McCarron is going to have to go to a place that’s the right fit. He’s not going to change an organization overnight, but he can be groomed to take the reins, and these are two places that can provide that luxury.
