Having the third pick in this year’s NFL Draft, many expect the Jacksonville Jaguars to use that on a quarterback. Despite re-signing Chad Henne this past week, we all know that he’s no sure thing, and NFL Network draft analyst Charles Davis recently made a very valid point as to why the Jags should take Johnny Manziel with that third selection.

"“Look at the division they play in the AFC South,” Davis said. “You’ve got Robert Mathis chasing down quarterbacks, from Indianapolis. J.J. Watt from Houston. So I think I need a guy with some pocket presence, and the guy who has the best pocket presence out of the three we’re talking about is Johnny Manziel."

While Blake Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater are seen as the more polished, pocket passers of the big three, Manziel is far-and-away the one with the most mobility, and would indeed deal with the tremendous pass rushers of the AFC South a lot better than his counterparts.

And Davis didn’t even factor in the possibility of the Houston Texans adding Jadeveon Clowney, neither.
