The Denver Broncos have finally ended the Emmanuel Sanders saga — at least for now. After agreeing to sign him, only to later find out he had already done so with the Kansas City Chiefs and reneged, the Broncos have officially announced the signing of wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders.

This hardly ends the drama surrounding the journey to that photo of a happy Sanders smiling signing his new deal with the Broncos. The Kansas City Chiefs apparently had a deal they thought was about to be signed with Sanders before they found out he was actually signing with their AFC West rivals.

While the arms race between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots is the talk of the NFL at the moment, this little sidebar with the Chiefs has added an extra level to the rivalry between Denver and Kansas City. When they meet this upcoming season, not only will they play the evolution of what we saw last year, but Sanders may have some extra action coming his way.
