The New England Patriots have added another pass catcher for quarterback Tom Brady, signing wide receiver Brandon LaFell away from the Carolina Panthers. LaFell signed a three-year, $11 million contract to go to the Patriots.

During the Panthers’ break out season, LaFell caught 49 catches, 627 yards, and five touchdowns. Depending on where he winds up in the Patriots’ depth chart he could have better numbers. If he can prove himself to be a reliable target for quarterback Tom Brady, his numbers could increase significantly.
