2014 NFL free agency rumors: Rex Ryan is not happy about the New York Jets’ lack of big moves

Aside from the signing of Eric Decker early on–whom we’re not still completely sure is a no. 1 wide receiver, the New York Jets have more or less had their butts handed to them in free agency this offseason. Just to name a couple of their shortfalls, they lost out on bringing star corner Darrelle Revis back and, as recently as Monday, they were not able to lure free agent DB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie away from the New York Giants.

All of this, according to NFL.com, has not left head coach Rex Ryan too pleased.

As a matter of fact, he’s flat out “pissed off.”

“Rex is pissed,” one friend of Ryan told Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

In reality, after everything that has gone down, he has every right to be. Last season, he had one of the worst teams in football, frankly, competitive to the point where some people were talking about backing into the playoffs. All that probably needed to be done were a few moves this past week during free agency.

Which we know ultimately did not happen.

Poor Rex! First he didn’t get his “step child” back in NY, then the Pats signed him! Then all the other CBs he wanted, passed the Jets over! Poor, Poor Rex!! Where are all these guys that we’ve heard so much about? You know, the guys standing in line because they want to play for Rex??? He best keep his mouth shut in the media though, or Idzik will have to paddle him! Expect the crybaby to loose his job this year!! LOL
