Richard Sherman is the best cornerback in football and he’s also probably the best trash talker we’ve ever seen in professional sports. While he talks a gigantic game, he backs it up by knocking you straight in your mouth before you can answer — even on Twitter.

It’s not surprising to hear offensive players come after Sherman, and former Cincinnati Bengals receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh has it out for Sherman. TMZ stopped Houshmandzadeh recently and talked to him about Sherman, and the former Bengal gave an interesting response.

According to Houshmandzadeh, he would have destroyed Sherman had they gone one-on-one in his prime.

It’s certainly one thing to say something and back it up like Sherman can and has done, but it’s another to play that ‘What-If’ game when you know your scenario will never be played out.

Houshmandzadeh was pretty good in his prime, but Sherman is even better and he shuts down some of the best receivers in the game. Besides, Sherman is best known these days for being the best players at his position and one of the best players in the game, while Houshmandzadeh is remembered for having a hard to say name that was popularized in a Fantasy Football commercial.
