The Cincinnati Bengals had until today to decide if they wanted to match the offer the the Cleveland Browns put in to Andrew Hawkins, and their decision is one that fans may not like.

While he was an emerging star for the Bengals, both Ian Rapoport from NFL Network and Adam Schefter from ESPN are reporting that Cincinnati has chose to not match the offer sheet for Hawkins and he is now a member of the Cleveland Browns.

The loss of Hawkins likely won’t sit well with fans, as he was starting to look like a nice complement to A.J. Green. Still, the Bengals will move on and try to likely find someone in the draft while the Browns have added yet another great signing in an offseason that has proved to be fruitful for them.
