No matter what, we know that the success of the Washington Redskins begins and ends with the health of their star, Robert Griffin III. He struggled mightily in 2013 to return from the knee injury he suffered in the playoffs the previous season, and it showed. That’s why there might be some fans that won’t like to hear what Griffin recently had to say to CSN Washington about his knee brace.

In particular, how he’s not going to wear it this season.

"“Safe to say, I won’t be wearing the brace in 2014,”"

I mean, there’s a few ways that you can look at this. Fans could be a little concerned that not wearing the brace will leave the face of their franchise more vulnerable to further injury, while maybe not having it is a sign that the knee concerns are no more, which would be the ultimate coup.

Then, there’s the fact that his range of motion won’t be so constricted anymore.

There are a lot of ways that you can look at it, but for now, let’s just look at it as the latest saga in the book of RG3.
