It appears that Michael Vick’s decision on where he wants to play will be coming sooner than we originally expected. While it was reported that he’d wait util after the draft to pick a team, Vick is on the radar of a few different teams from the Titans to the Jets and also the Rams and Panthers.

Mik Florio from Pro Football Talk outlined a few landing spots for Vick and noted that the Panthers and Rams may be a short-term fit for Vick thanks to the injuries they have to their current starters.

Per PFT.com:

"Injury concerns could help Vick’s cause.  In St. Louis, Sam Bradford is recovering from a torn ACL.  In Carolina, Cam Newton suddenly will be gone for the next four months.  In either city, however, Vick would likely be holding a spot until the starter is healthy."

Vick mentoring Cam Newton is an interesting idea, as is the idea of Vick running what could be a high flying and mobile offense in St. Louis with Tavon Austin. He may not land in either destination, but it’s clear that Vick will find a home rather soon.
