In terms of talent, there’s no denying that Josh Morgan is loaded. But for whatever reason, the wide receiver has struggled to put it all together during his six-year NFL career.

Despite that, the free agent is drawing significant interest on the open market from at least six-teams, two of which include the Carolina Panthers and San Francisco 49ers.

"@ESPNRadio980 hears that the #Panthers and #49’ers are leaders among six teams interested in #Redskins UFA WR Josh Morgan. Both need help."

Morgan spent the last two seasons floundering with the Washington Redskins, though only produced 724 yards during that two-year stretch. Before that, Morgan spent parts of four seasons with the aforementioned San Francisco 49ers, though did so with quarterback Alex Smith who didn’t exactly work well with Morgan’s strengths.

Carolina has simply been linked to any available wide receiver at this point, so it’s not known how serious their interest in the 29-year-old is currently. That said, he’d instantly become their top wideout, which is a problem within itself.
