The trade market for running back Chris Johnson is apparently heating up, as while it seemed no one was interested in trading for hims week ago, things have changed.

Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk reports that while nothing is imminent, league sources say multiple teams have an interest in acquiring Johnson this offseason.

Per Florio:

"For now, nothing is imminent.  A trade would require both the Titans to be happy with the compensation and Johnson to be happy with the destination.  Johnson also would have to be happy with his contract."

Since breaking the 2,000 yard threshold and grabbing a fat contract a few years ago, Johnson has been a shell of himself and has failed to step up his gem or take responsibility for not stepping up his game. Whether it’s the coaching staff or the offensive line, Johnson’s struggles apparently aren’t his fault and it’s everyone around him who is the problem.

Despite that attitude and his lazy style of improving his game, there’s real talent buried within Johnson and it appears that more than a few teams are willing to tap into that potential via trade.
