NFL rumors: Lestar Jean visiting Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers have very few options at wide receiver that have recorded a catch in the NFL, but they have begun bolstering their receiving corp with the signing of veteran Jerricho Cotchery.

Now, the team is looking to bring in a young, talented wide receiver who has yet to reach his potential in Lestar Jean.

According to Joe Person of The Charlotte Observer, the Panthers are working out and visiting with the former Houston Texan over the course of the next two days.

Jean has just six career catches for 151 yards and a touchdown.

Sadly, that would still make Jean one of the most experienced and productive receivers on the Panthers roster. Yes, they are in need of receiver help that badly.
