The Philadelphia Eagles and DeSean Jackson stand off has become a tense and sloppy situation. There are all sorts of various reports of trades though according to CBS Philly, head coach Chip Kelly met with Jackson to squash those rumors.

"94WIP’s Ike Reese opened the Mike and Ike Show Wednesday by saying that Eagles coach Chip Kelly has assured the wide receiver that he will not be traded this offseason.“He’s [DeSean Jackson] talked to Chip [Kelly] this off-season,” Reese said, citing a source close to the situation. “He’s talked to Chip and Chip told him you don’t have to worry about all the rumors that are out there. You’re here. He’s been assured, at least he’s been assured at that time [when they talked], that he wasn’t going anywhere. “"

Well now there is a report from Jackson’s camp that there is no way he is on the Eagles in 2014.

From the Allentown Morning Call:

"“There is no way he’s an Eagle this year,” yet another person close to Jackson told The Morning Call. “However it leaked out, it leaked out, and now this is what you have.”"

The Jackson camp clearly knows something that we don’t, that or the Eagles reports that they aren’t trading Jackson is just a stance with the media while they try to move him behind the scenes.
