The Ultimate Fighter Nations is currently airing on Fox Sports 1, and it has actually been a pretty exciting season thus far full of action packed fights, finishes, and of course drama.
Last night, Team Canada Welterweights Kajan Johnson and Chad Laprise were forced to fight one another in the semifinals of the show. What occurred was an absolutely brutal KO that left those in attendance stunned in silence. Watch the entire fight in the video above.
Laprise ultimately won the fight by shattering Johnson’s jaw with a brutal right hook that Johnson never saw coming. In a blog for MMAJunkie, Johnson broke down the fight ending blow that ended his run in the tournament:
Unfortunately for me my left hand isn’t in its rightful place protecting my chin and CRACK! He hits me with a right hand bomb shattering my jaw and dropping me on my face. They say it’s the one you don’t see that gets you out and they’re right. I did not see it coming at all. I just woke up on the ground on my hands and knees with blood leaking from my face. I knew right away that my jaw was broken. Because of adrenaline, there was no pain yet but it was very obvious to me that it was way out of place. I couldn’t close my mouth and it felt completely out of line.
With the win, Laprise moved on to the TUF Nations Welterweight Finale where he will face off against the winner of Richard Walsh and Olivier Aubin-Mercier.
