Wilmer Cabrera’s Chivas USA are faring quite well these days. With one win and one draw under their belts, the Goats continue their year of transition on Saturday against Oscar Pareja’s FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Tex. Dallas are coming off a 1-1 draw with Sporting Kansas City and will look to get a much better result at home.

Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. PT/7:30 p.m. CT/8:30 p.m. ET and will be televised by MLS Live. Here are 10 Bold Predictions for the Mar. 22 meeting between FC Dallas and Chivas USA.

1. At least 30 fouls and four cards

Let’s get the fouls and cards out of the way first. In what should be a typical [sic] MLS match, you’ll see fouls and you’ll see cards. In this game, look for at least 30 fouls and at least four cards. Especially with the regular referees coming back…

2. You want goals? You got goals!

There will be lots of scoring in the game. In a battle between two sides itching for the rebound, at least five goals will be scores.

3. Erick Torres with a brace

When Erick “Cubo” Torres is hot, he is hot. No question about it, this scoring dynamo that is not from THE Dynamo (I’m talking about the orange team from Houston) knows how to dial it in. Look for a brace from Torres.

4. Mauro Rosales with an assist

Chivas USA’s top provider is Mauro Rosales, and he’ll get on the score sheet with another assist off a set piece. The MLS Multiplex will call it an assist off a corner for Rosales.

5. Dan Kennedy with at least five saves

Chivas USA goalkeeper Dan Kennedy will have a busy day in goal as he faces the FC Dallas firing squad. Kennedy will make at least five saves.

6. Blas Perez with a brace

A good team in MLS requires a trigger man, and no one does it better than Panamanian sensation Blas Perez. Perez will hit his stride and record a brace against Chivas USA.

7. Fabian Castillo will score

Also on goal will be Fabian Castillo, who will earn a goal and an assist in this game. On any given day, the least likely of scorers will contribute, and Castillo fits that mold. Sort of. But we’re calling for Fabian to dial it in anyway.

8. Chris Seitz with under five saves

FC Dallas will need to utilize the counter and press in the mold of Cruz Azul to make hay. That will make this game a straightforward 90 for Chris Seitz, who is predicted to record under five saves.

9. Bofo Bautista disappoints again

Adolfo Bautista is in the same position as Clint Dempsey with Seattle: a big name yet to break out. The only difference is that Dempsey has already opened his scoring account. As for Bofo, he will not earn a goal or even an assist on Saturday night in Frisco.

10. FC Dallas prevail in another goal festival

This will be a show for the home fans and they will be rewarded. Powered by the mystique of Blas Perez, FC Dallas will prevail over Chivas USA but not before an exciting, high-energy shootout near Big D.
