With the 2014 NFL Draft rapidly approaching, it’s getting to be crunch time for NFL teams to begin figuring out which direction they would like to go with the collegiate talent that’s available, and a big part of that is scheduling visits with some of the top talent. And according to NFL.com, the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to meet with one of the bigger prospects in the group, Auburn defensive end Dee Ford.

"Auburn defensive end Dee Ford has visits scheduled with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, although if Ford is drafted in the first-round range expected by draft experts, it’s tough to imagine the pass-rushing standout landing with at least one of them in the 2014 NFL Draft."

As they said above, it’s hard to imagine Ford landing with at least one of these two, and that is definitely in reference to the Patriots. Ford should be off the board by the time the Pats pick.

However, at number seven, there is absolutely an opportunity that the Bucs and their new, defensive-oriented coach Lovie Smith would love to have Ford rushing off the edge for them.
