The Philadelphia Eagles are trying to trade wide receiver DeSean Jackson, but he is unwilling to restructure his $10.5 million deal to facilitate a trade. The Eagles will reportedly either move Jackson or cut him, and Jackson digging in his feet by refusing to restructure could be an attempt to control his destiny. By being released he can work out a contract and pick his team and maintain control over his future.

DeSean Jackson may not be interested in taking a paycut, but he'll likely have no choice. Hard to imagine a team taking on that contract.
