The career of Donald Penn in Tampa Bay came to an end when the long tenured left tackle was cut loose and replaced in free agency. While he hadn’t lived up to the massive contract he had been handed on the pillow he eventually became, Penn is none too tickled over being cut and vented his rage on SiriusXM Radio.

Penn said while he had built a good relationship in Tampa Bay (see: they overpaid him), he felt wronged by they way things ended and how he was treated (see: they stopped overpaying him). Penn even went as far as to say he wished the Bucs were on his schedule this year so he could seek revenge, but unfortunately they are not.

The quotes were grabbed by Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk:

"“The way Tampa did me kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. I kind of wish they were on the schedule, but they’re not,” said Penn. “I built a great relationship there. But the way they did it at the end, it wasn’t right in my book. I’m a grown man and they could have treated me like a grown man.”"

This is hardly a Steve Smith style story, as Bucs fans were growing tired of Penn and he was hardly a fan favorite. Still, he feels wronged by the Bucs which means something could ave happened behind the scenes during his exit that officially soured him.
