There have been plenty of reports over the past few days suggesting that the Philadelphia Eagles and wide receiver DeSean Jackson will be parting ways. The buzz continues to build and now it seems certain that the Eagles will be letting Jackson get a fresh start elsewhere.

Whether the team releases Jackson or trades him, he won’t be returning and that appears to be all but official.

From Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News:

As Mehta suggests, one of the potential landing sports is the New York Jets, who recently signed Jackson’s good friend and former quarterback Michael Vick.
