While it seemed like an intriguing option, Seattle Seahawks fans that have maybe been a little excited about the team possibly pulling the trigger on a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles for DeSean Jackson may want to pump the brakes a little bit, as Mike Florio over at Pro Football Talk is reporting that the organization has no plans to make that a reality.

"Amid a report that the Seahawks have expressed interest in Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson, a source with direct knowledge of the team’s thinking tells PFT that the Seahawks have “no interest at all” in Jackson."

Earlier this week as reports were becoming more and more prevalent that the relationship between Jackson and the Eagles is quickly souring and a trade may be imminent, the Seahawks were one of the teams brought up as one that had some significant interest.

Jackson would have brought an interesting dynamic to the offense of the reigning World Champions, but apparently now we’ll never get to see just how well he would have fit in with Russell Wilson and the rest of the crew.

As of now, the majority of the teams that are still in the running are said to be the New York Jets, Oakland Raiders and the Seahawks’ most bitter rival, the San Francisco 49ers.
