Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno visited the Miami Dolphins, but they let him leave without a deal. There is a report out of South Florida that claims the Dolphins are still interested in Moreno and the two sides continue discussions.

From Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald:

"Three days after hosting him on a visit, the Dolphins remain interested in signing free agent running back Knowshon Moreno, according to a league source. The Dolphins and his agent have continued discussions since his visit on Friday.Moreno has interest in Miami. The Dolphins believe he would be an upgrade over Daniel Thomas. But whether they can agree to terms financially remains to be seen."

Lamar Miller was the lead running back for the Dolphins with 177 carries and 709 yards, while Daniel Thomas played the complimentary role with 406 yards on 109 carries.

Moreno on the other hand carried the ball 241 times for 1,038 yards, but the question would be if he could replicate those numbers in Miami with a restructured offensive line and without Peyton Manning’s passing game taking the attention of the defense.
