NFL rumors: Jermichael Finley failed physical with Seahawks

Earlier in the offseason, it appeared that free agent tight end Jermichael Finley was getting close to receiving medical clearance to return to football, but reports popped up late last week that Finley was still about two months away from returning to the field.
A new report from the Green Bay Press-Gazette on Monday backed up that claim.
According to the report, the Seattle Seahawks failed Finley on his physical when he visited with the team early on in the free agency period.
There will be plenty of questions over the next few months about whether or not Finley will ever be able to resume his playing career, and this isn’t the best sign. Of course there could be one team who agrees to sign Finley once he is cleared by a medical professional, but things aren’t looking good for the time being.
