NFL Rumors: Oakland Raiders to trade or release Terrelle Pryor soon

The Oakland Raiders once looked like a possible destination for Terrelle Pryor’s NFL career but he’s a man living in someone else’s home at this point. The keys used to be his, but he’s been knocked down the pecking order thanks to Matt Schaub and Matt McGloin, and something is going to happen.

According to a couple of different reports, the Raiders are expected to either cut or release Pryor in the near future, with the quarterback reportedly talking with his agent about requesting a transaction of some sort.

There are conflicting reports about that last tweet, as some are saying Pryor wants a trade, but requesting a release seems to make more sense. A trade would help the Raiders and limit Pryor’s say in the matter. He owes the Raiders nothing and would likely not be willing to help them out by asking for a trade.

hang in there TP. Allen & Mckenzie will both get fired this season, Schaub will be the next great QB savior failure. I hope the Raiders are smart enough to keep the best raw athlete in the organization and develop him. Otherwise the only thing Raiders Fans can hope for at the end of the season is another shot at Gruden if Mark will open up his wallet and hire a real coach. If not we will waste another 2 or 3 years rebuilding… no wonder you want out.. the blind leading the blind out there in Oakland. You will probably beat Schaub out like you did Flynn- guess Mckenzie & Allen can’t suffer that embarrassment AGAIN!
