NBA Draft 2014: LaQuinton Ross expected to declare today

The college season for LaQuinton Ross is over and it appears so too is his career at Ohio State. While it was reported that Ross has already declared for the NBA Draft this June, Adam Zagoria form is reporting that the official announcement is coming today which means another great prospect is entering the draft this summer.

Ross isn’t a prospect that lit scouts on fire while with the Buckeyes, but like so many other players in this class, he has the tools to develop into a serviceable NBA player. He may not ever be a star, but Ross could end up being a great rotational player and we’re finding that depth is a must in the NBA, even if you have a loaded talent of star power.

Right now he’s projected as an early second round pick, but there’s a chance he could sneak into the first round if all goes well for him.
