The Jacksonville Jaguars have quietly put together a solid offseason of free agent signings and they don’t appear to be done building for 2014. The team has long term growth to achieve but it looks like their 2014 campaign will be markedly improved from their 2013 one.

One way the team is loping to get better for the long term is through young player in the draft. Not only are the Jaguars stoked about building through the draft, but the team is particularly intrigued by the deep draft class that is entering the league this year.

There are varying degrees of love or hate for the draft class this year. Some are hailing it as the deepest draft ever, but it seems we hear that almost every year now. Others believe the draft contains some gems but they’re almost diamond in the rough types of finds.

Either way, the Jaguars know who they want and while the class itself may not be deep, it’s silt possible that the scouting department has weeded through the garbage enough to at least make it look that way.
