NFL Rumors: Baltimore Ravens interested in adding another quarterback

Last year we saw the importance of the backup quarterback when Jay Cutler got injured and the Bears inserted Josh McCown into the mix to try and keep the ship from sinking. Not only did McCown do such a good job that he caused a quarterback controversy in Chicago, but he secured a starting job in Tampa Bay as as result.

To counter that, the Packers season nearly fell apart when Aaron Rodgers went down and even though things worked out in the end, the situation proved that backup quarterbacks are essent

The Ravens reportedly and interest in Brandon Weeden before he signed with the Dallas Cowboys, but their search for a quarterback will lead them to a veteran and likely not someone in the draft. The market for backup quarterbacks at the moment isn’t very deep but someone like Shaun Hill could very likely come in and at least provide the Ravens with peace of mind at the position.
