The career of Kenny Britt seems to be about to take off in a new location. While his days with the Tennessee Titans were memorable for mostly all the wrong reasons, Britt is trying to pick a new team to play for and his options are starting to narrow.

After hearing this morning that the New England Patriots have no plans on signing Britt, Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk is reporting that the St. Louis Rams are the new favorites to land Britt — so says the St. Louis Rams.

Per Florio:

"The chatter at the league meetings indicates Britt could pick his next team within the next 48 hours.  In an interview with PFT, Rams G.M. Les Snead pegged Britt’s chances of landing in St. Louis at “better than 50 percent.”"

The Rams need receiving help badly, especially if they want to allow Tavon Austin to open up the offense the way everyone thought he would. Britt brings baggage to Tennessee but he’d be rejoining Jeff Fisher, who drafted him back in 2009 while still head coach of the Titans, and the new setting may be what Britt and the Rams ultimately need.
