Jared Allen has faith that Jay Cutler will lead Bears to Super Bowl

Early this morning, the Chicago Bears signed DE Jared Allen. He signed for $32 million over 4 years with 15.5M guaranteed. He had multiple offers on the table including one from the Seahawks.

It turns out that one of the deciding factors in signing with the Bears is that he thinks Jay Cutler can lead them to a Super Bowl title:

Normally, I would laugh at this and say that Cutler is good but not that good. However, Allen has been in Minnesota where QB has been very bad so he might have rose colored glasses on. If he thinks Cutler can win a Super Bowl, what does he think of Russell Wilson who has already won a Super Bowl? We will find out soon enough though if Cutler can lead these Bears to a championship.

I wud rather have Cutler over Russell Wilson any day of the week. I see Wilson as mearly a good game manager . I wud say he’s an above average game manager. If Cutler stays healthy I think he’s gonna light it up in his 2nd year in Tresman’s system

@Goodshepherd Americanbullies… I totally agree with your assessment. Go Bears!
