The New England Patriots would love for nothing more than to get Tom Brady some more weapons in the passing game, and for that help it appears they may be looking toward the NFL Draft as six coaches from the team–including Bill Belichick–put Florida State’s Kelvin Benjamin through a private workout last Friday at his Pro Day.

New England was able to bring back slot receiver Julian Edelman this past free agency period, but Benjamin could bring another dynamic to Brady and the passing game with his 6-5, 240-pound frame. There have been some questions about his development, and there would be no better place to do that than in New England with Belichick and Brady.

There is a chance that Benjamin could fall that far in the draft where the Patriots could select him with the 29th overall selection, but that chance is very small.
